I'm Reid. I built Aether after years of advising and watching the same five-tool stitchwork happen in every practice: a CRM, a planner, a portfolio modeler, a document tool, and a compliance checklist that never quite talk to each other.
Aether is the one workspace I wished existed — fact-find through compliance, with an AI assistant (Vesper) that handles the drafting and explaining without ever crossing the line into giving advice.
Why Aether.
The brand layer is two-part. Aether Forge is the workshop — the studio, the trading name, the place tools get made. Aether is the platform — the advice workspace itself. Vesper is the AI assistant that lives inside it.
Australian financial software has been an afterthought of US and UK products for too long. Aether is built local-first — for AU tax, AU super, AU advice law — and Vesper is the first AI assistant designed for the way AU advice actually gets delivered.
The pilot story.
Aether is currently in pilot with a small number of Australian advisers. Quotes will appear here as pilots consent. The number is small on purpose — every pilot gets direct founder support and shapes the next release.
Roadmap snapshot.

- Next quarter: migration tooling for moving books from other planners, broader fact-find smart links, Vesper review-mode for SOAs.
