Aether Forge — the fiery furnace of great advice!

Reid Maclachlan, founder.

I spent five years working in two different advice firms, and none of the software platforms we tried over that period actually made our lives easier. We tried the market leader (hi mom!), an adviser-made option, and a flashy, techy one.. They all seemed efficient and forward-thinking, but mostly just added extra steps and processes for a marginally better output (in my view).

When AI development tools started going crazy, I realised I had a real opportunity to build something incredible. I got down and dirty with my team of faithful AI agents.. and spent a lot of time trying to rethink what advice software could/ought to be. Aether has been my muse and still consumes my mornings and nights (I have a day job!). Look at her now...

Why Aether.

I think of the Aether in this context as an invisible force that guides the physical world through non-physical means. A vast space of limitless energy and time. I feel like Aether describes how the data is so alive in the app, and is guided and jostled along through millions of gears and cranks all in the split of a second, to give an output.

Aether Forge is the idea in practice, the doing of the thing. Harnessing the power of the aether to forge some seriously heavy metal.

The pilot story.

Aether is currently taking on solo and few-adviser Australian practices that aren't 100% satisfied with their current setup, or are looking to give their paraplanners a huge efficiency boost. The pilot is fairly substantial already: every walkthrough simply tests and hardens the chain from fact-find to compliant draft SOA to make it faster, clearer, and easier to review. Thank you for your efforts!
